Untouched. Uncrowded. Coached by a Redbull KOTA 2024 Champion.
Inhaca Island represents the ultimate frontier for kitesurfing Mozambique. Far from the mass tourism of more developed hubs, this sanctuary offers a rare combination of raw natural beauty and world-class conditions.
Our kite safari Africa experience is built around the island's unique geography. Pristine coral reefs protect vast lagoons of waist-deep flat water, while the outer reefs offer perfectly formed waves for those seeking an extra challenge.
The consistent Indian Ocean trade winds provide a reliable engine for daily sessions, ensuring that every moment of your expedition is spent either on the water or immersed in the tranquil rhythms of island life.
Navigate the archipelago the traditional way, with a luxury twist.
Discover Earth's most vibrant marine ecosystems during downwind breaks.
Evening visits to local villages for authentic culinary experiences.
We chase the best conditions across different secret spots each day.
This trip is organized by bynd.xp, founded by the legend Josh Emanuel. Local Secrets XP and bynd.xp share more than a passion for kiting — they share a philosophy. Both brands are built on the belief that the most meaningful experiences happen far from the tourist trail, where nature is raw, the wind is real, and the people around you are equally obsessed.
bynd.xp was built around a South African pro kitesurfer whose name carries serious weight in the kite world. Josh is the winner of the 2017 Red Bull Megaloop Challenge and once held the top spot on the Woo All-Time Leaderboard with a 36.2-metre jump — a record that placed him among the sport's big air legends. His riding spans big air, waves, and technical freestyle, and that same relentless pursuit of progression is what he channels into building bynd.xp's experiences.
Life on Inhaca Island
"The Inhaca crossing was unlike anything I'd experienced. Wind was perfect every single day, and Francesca's coaching took my riding to a completely new level."
— Dieter S., Germany"Coming from a beach resort background, I was amazed by how remote and untouched Inhaca felt. The snorkelling sessions between kite sets were magical."
— Nina K., NetherlandsLimited to 8 riders per departure. Once these spots are gone, the next opening is 2027.
